Oxi-Gen works on the principle of Electrochemical Activation of Water. Electrochemical Activation of Water was first discovered by Prof. Vitold Bakhir. Oxi-Gen systems are manufactured in collaboration with Vitold Bakhir Institute of Electrochemical Systems and Technologies.

Electrochemical Activation of Water involves, electrolyzing a weak electrolyte using a Patented Flow Through Electro Chemical Cell (FEM) at very specific, current, voltage, pressure, flow, pH & conductivity settings. The FEM activates the water and then separates the solutions coming out of Anodic Chamber and the Cathodic Chamber.

The solution coming out of the Anodic Chamber, Oxi-Lyte is a Mixture of Oxidants. Freshly generated Oxi-Lyte consists of hypochlorous acid, molecular chlorine, ozone, atomic oxygen, chlorine dioxide. It also has a very low quantity of hydroperoxide compounds (hydrogen peroxide, singlet oxygen, superoxide radicals) contained in micro-drops of gaseous oxidants mixture.

Oxi-Lyte is an are antimicrobial and oxidizing reagent which is more efficient than any other solution containing only chlorine or chlorine dioxide or ozone. This is possible because of the synergistic chemistry of these oxidants. In presence of hydroperoxide compounds, they produce a very potent mix of oxidants, which has an exponential oxidizing potential. These synergistic reactions also prevent the generation of trihalomethanes (THM) which is usually produced by chlorine based compounds.

The whole process of generating Oxi-Lyte is extremely safe for the workers and the environment. It does not involve use of any toxic and hazardous chemicals. The by products are also environment friendly, making this a truly green technology.

Oxi-Lyte kills microorganisms by destroying the cell wall by inducing oxidative stress. The solution is harmless to multi cellular organisms, as they have an Anti Oxidant Defence System, which protects them from this Oxidative Stress.

Oxi-Lyte can kill all bacteria, Viruse, Fungi & Spores, within a very short contact time. Oxi-Lyte also removes Biofilm.

Oxi-Lyte is are Non Toxic and Eco Friendly. It can be disposed off, like water. Also, the input cost is extremely low for its production.
